Abe
Schwartzrock lead the W-W. academic team in the Academic
Challenge held at Miller on February 4. Students were ranked
1-10 out of 16 placements in 24 different categories.
Mrs. Rainford and Mrs. Fauth accompanied the eighteen
representatives to the challenge which ran most of the day.
Abe
received a gold medal for his performance in geometry, a
silver in chemistry, and a bronze in world history.
Other
medal winners included: Spencer Chase, gold in sports;
Rebecca Runge, silver in grammar II;

Robbie
Gasgoigne, bronze in art; Sawyer Langbehn, bronze in algebra
II.
The
team didn’t stop there!
They took home 17 more places to round out a very
successful trip.
Tessia
Black said, “It was really challenging and I would
participate in it again.”
Patrick
Eggleston noted that along with the challenge, a quiz bowl
was held. He stated, “We should be in the quiz bowl next
year.” Several other participants nodded their heads in
agreement.
