Parking - there will be parking all along the fence on the north side of the field. There is also a grass area that vehicles will be able to park in next to the main gravel parking lot west of the gym. All of the handicap parking will be to the west of the ticket stand.
Seating - there is now bleacher seating. There is also places to stand on both the west and east sides of the grandstand.
The home side will be on the east side and the away seating will be on the west.
Concessions / Bathrooms - there will be full concessions and bathrooms all in one building. The concessions are right when you walk in, and the bathrooms are located on the far east side of the concessions.
Tomorrow will also be elementary appreciation at half time. Students will line up right before halftime starts at the west concrete pad and will go out to the field. If you have an elementary student we would love to see them out there!!
A Portrait of a Graduate helps us identify the skills, characteristics, and qualities we want every Warbird to have when they graduate. Whether they go on to college, enter the workforce, serve in the military, start a business, or pursue another path.

Our back to school night will be August 13th from 4pm to 6pm. Bus route information will be available that night. Thank you to the boosters for hosting fun activities for our students!
3/4 preschool will be split days this year. Parents will choose whether they want to go Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Reminder 4/5 year old preschoolers will be picked up in town at the daycares, and they are able to ride the bus only in the afternoon if they have a sibling.
There was a message sent before, but there will be no after-school program this year.
High school students will continue to park in the west parking lot next to the gym. This will be enforced again this year.
We have had some questions on the weight room being used as a community facility. We have everything ready to go, but we are having to figure out the best way for key cards to be used up there. We are working on this diligently, and hoping to have that ready to go soon.

Our track is open to all community members! We want everyone to be able to use it. There are some rules that we need to address before we get our signs out there. No bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, or motorized vehicles on the track. No pets on the track or athletic field. Food, gum, sunflower seeds, and glass containers are not permitted on the track surface. The project will be done by the end of the month, so enter through the gates on the NE or NW side of the track.
After carefully reviewing the last two years, we have made the difficult decision not to offer the After School Program this year due to low participation. We know this program is important to many of our families, and this was not a decision we made lightly. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and thank you for your continued support.

The Wolsey-Wessington School District has been fortunate to welcome Ioli Papadaki-Rovola from Greece this year! To express her gratitude and share her love for animals, Ioli is organizing a donation drive to support the Beadle County Humane Society. In addition to the donation drive, the school is also hosting a COIN WAR between all of the classes 04/15/2026-04/22/2026, with all proceeds going toward the cause! The winning class will be treated to donuts as a special reward for their generosity.
This is Mr. Donovan. I am planning on doing t-ball and coach pitch this summer. It would be the month of June, Mondays and Wednesday nights. We will have practices and then plan on playing games as well with other towns. I would like to see the interest first to make sure we will have enough to field a team.
