Welcome back!! This is Mr. Donovan the new Superintendent. I want to thank everyone for being so welcoming to my family. We are excited to join the Wolsey-Wessington community. Our school district will focus on family engagement this year, and we are excited to bring in Black Hills Special Services Cooperative to help with this. There are a few reminders before school starts. Open house is tonight from 4-6pm. This is a great time to meet the staff and be ready to go for Wednesday when school starts. The After School Program will start on August 26th. We will be running the program until 5:30. The after school pick up line will change a little bit this year. First car in line parks at the top of the hill along sidewalk and follow in line down the hill. Please remain in vehicle and your child will be brought out to you. If you need to enter the school please park in the parking lot. Once your child is in the vehicle please utilize your blinker and safely merge out of the pickup line. This should make it so we don't get so backed up. Students are only able to be dropped off at 7:45 as well. Hope everyone has a wonderful school year and we are excited to get students back in the building!

Reminder that the fall sports meeting is tonight at 7pm.
3-4 year old pre-school has a couple changes happening for this year. They will now start at 8:10 and be done at 10:10. In the past it has been only Tuesday and Thursday. We are now giving the parents the option of either doing Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday. We will stick with two days a week still, just giving parents the ability to choose what days work best for their schedule. Please contact the office or Ms. Dragt if you have any questions.
Reminder of upcoming important dates!
The Fall Sports Meeting will be held next Wednesday, August 7th, at 7pm. There will be a short meeting to begin and then each fall sport will be split up with coaches to talk about expectations for the upcoming season.

Warbird PTO Meeting February 6th at 6PM
Mrs. Fauth is looking for judges for various oral interp events over the next month. Anyone, student or teacher or community member who would be willing or able to help us, please contact Mrs. Fauth at the school. For the workshop on Oct. 14 at the school, the pay is $125 for the morning. For the various out of town Saturday events, the pay is $75 plus a ride to the event if you wish and lunch.
