At the special school board meeting, we were thrilled to receive approval for the playground, track, and football field project, as well as an opt-out for capital outlay. Even with this approval, the tax levy will still decrease as discussed in the previous meeting. This project is an exciting investment in our students and the community, enhancing opportunities for both education and recreation. We look forward to the positive impact it will have for years to come!
Due to the blowing snow and possible icy conditions this afternoon, there will be an early out at 1:30. Buses will run as normal. There will be no practices tonight. Please call the office if there is a change in transportation for your child. Drive safe!
The BBB games tonight in Wessington Springs will be postponed to Friday with the same schedule and location. Friday's games will also be moved to Saturday with the same location. Times for Saturday are TBD.
The FFA event for tomorrow will be postponed to March 19th as well.

After spending some time learning about timelines and biographies, students in Mrs. McGillvrey’s class created their own timelines to share!

Last Thursday, Ms. Baumann and her high school pep band turned up the energy by inviting community members to join in for an unforgettable night of music and basketball! The stands were rocking, the spirit was high, and the gym was alive with incredible sounds and support. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to play and cheer—what a fantastic way to bring Wolsey-Wessington together! 💛🖤
We had our second meeting for the track this past Friday. We went more in-depth on the financial aspects of the whole project and capital outlay. If you have any questions on the meeting after watching please reach out to Mr. Donovan!
