Our school participates in a program called the Heartland Region Backpack Program. To be eligible for the program, families must have extenuating circumstances that warrant the need for the program. Examples of circumstances that warrant need could be limited household income, medical issues, eligible for free or reduced lunches or other valid reason
At the end of each week, your child will be given supplemental food items for the weekend beginning the first week in October and continuing to the end of the school year.
If you would like your child(ren) to participate in the Heartland Region Back Pack Food Program, please fill out and return the permission slip below. Have your child return the permission slip to their school office as soon as possible and no later than September 22nd, 2023. IF YOU DO NOT RETURN THE FORM, YOU WILL NOT BE ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM.
